After ordering one for a gift, we ordered two more. It's a great sounding little speaker - full, rich, not tinny at all. It comes with a usb cord to recharge. This speaker stand doesn't charge the iPod but recharges the speaker.
I can't figure out how to stand it up vertically (portrait view) and still plug the speaker cord into the bottom of the iPod as shown in the picture; it pushes it over. (possibly, I need to examine it further.) But it's perfect in landscape view for watching movies, etc.

So glad I purchased this speaker. Without a speaker, my husband didn't like the sound quality of songs played on my iPhone. He was amazed at the difference this speaker made. Small enough to carry in my purse, so I can have it whenever I need it!

I listen to Pandora on my LG smartphone and the sound just isn't that great. I use this speaker on the counter when I do the dishes or make dinner, I brought it out to the shed while we did misc. yard work. It's small and easy to bring from place to place. Doesn't take up counter room. I like the stand so I can see texts come in or what song is playing. It seems to stay charged longer than 6 hours. The only complaint is I wish the cord from the speaker to the phone was a little longer. But great product I wish I would have bought sooner!
